Fixed Wireless is an Australian business formed by M2M Connectivity Pty Ltd to sell and support the market for 3G Routers, cellular modems, Console Servers and Fixed Cellular products to provide data, fax and voice where fixed phone lines are not available.

The company was founded in 2002 and focusses on providing hardware and services to channels and customers needing a reliable wireless solutuon for high speed wireless data, cellular voice and/or fax.

Why have fixed products for voice/fax/data working over mobile networks? There are three core areas that use FCT products:

• To provide dial tone (telephony services) where no fixed ones are available
• To provide dial tone for mobile offices (and temporary locations) such as Container offices, boats, trucks, shows and sporting events
• Least Cost Routing (LCR) to divert calls from your office directly over mobile networks to take advantage of lower mobile-mobile call costs

Fixed Wireless works with leading manufacturers of FCT equipment including Telular - one of the founders of FCT products and a world leader in the technologies, Vololink - a leading developer of hardware and software applications that use 3G wireless technology, Ericsson - a world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally, Netcomm - who specialise in commercial grade 3G (HSDPA/HSUPA) wireless broadband products, Intercel - GSM/GPRS and 3G modem and 3G router module solutions, and Sierra Wireless - delivering reliable, cost-effective wireless connectivity over 3G/4G cellular networks.
